Active and outgoing dog who loves to swim! Breed is in the gundog group and was originally bred as a wildfowling dog. Originates from the Chesapeake Bay area of USA.
Character//
Chessies tend to attach themselves to one person in the household. This is probably due to their development as a wildfowling dog, which is a lonely occupation. If introduced to the family at a young age they will get on well with everyone.

Chessies measure 53-66cm at the withers.

Chessies love exercise and will go crazy if they are not given a good run on a daily basis.
